Resort: Celine 2011

 

Also 'Celine' presented its resort 2011 collections, so we already know what to wear now and within 3 months.. The cut was wonderful and again the silhouette so sophisticated and elegant, nevertheless I was kind of disappointed in the color palette. We all know now that Celine stands for a new simplicity and minimalism, nevertheless their summer collection was surprising but their resort.. so boring! There is nothing in there we haven't seen yet! Nor for the colors, nor for the inspiration..

Carine Roitfeld leaving Vogue FR

You must have read it all around the internet and newspapers by now, but the rumor is true: Carine is leaving Vogue Paris. After their great 70th aniversary with the amazing issue published, she had made her decision official and will be returning to doing freelance fashion styling. Maybe even something else that will surprise us, of well, time will tell!

The British Fashion Awards 2010

Eye catching for me at the BFA were Lily Cole with her hair dyed black and of course proud and well deserved winner of 'Designer of the Year' awart Phoebe Philo. More breath taking and worth mentioning was the tribute by Nick Knight to Lee McQueen, which you can watch at at the showstudio.com website.

It was so exciting last week, when Holly Syrett of the Amsterdam International Fashion Week announced the eight finalist together with the jury. I was of course present, as the stylist of the shoot, but more info and images about that later.
