The shows has started again, first in New York City, with London, Paris and Milan to follow. Alexander Wang kicked of a perfect Fashion Week for the Season of Summer and Spring 2011. We know, it is early to think about all that already, but when you're in the fashion business, time does not stand still.
And so it goes for Alexander Wang, who started with just a simple white T and a grey sweat shirt, and now has 30 models waling down the runway every season, where the most innovative and creative stylish, all still with that simple touch of just one white t-shirt. His SS11 collection is, for me, native American inspired. Prints, layers and tick woven fabrics strolled down the runway. With noses pierced and hair painted white, the models looked like newly representatives of this old spirit yet so modern look.
